EVA Air has just announced its latest Hello Kitty flight schedule for late 2024 into 2025 with service to two new destinations. For those unfamiliar, EVA Air offers a unique Hello Kitty themed experience on select routes. Not only is the aircraft livery itself Hello Kitty themed, but you’ll also find Hello Kitty branded service items and duty free products available onboard. Below are some examples of what you’ll find on the Hello Kitty flight including themed food and beverage items, slippers, and playing cards.
EVA Air Hello Kitty Routes 2024 and 2025
Periodically, EVA Air changes the routes and frequencies for which Hello Kitty service is offered. Let’s delve into the latest Hello Kitty flight information for those interested in booking a flight in late 2024 or 2025. Effective November 24, 2024, you’ll find Hello Kitty service on the following flights:
For those that have followed previous EVA Air Hello Kitty routes, you’ll notice that service continues to be operated in 2025 from Taipei (TPE) to Bali (DPS), Clark (CRK), Chicago (ORD), and Cebu (CEB). These routes will continue to be serviced by the existing Hello Kitty liveries including Joyful Dream (A330-300), Celebration Flight (A330-300), BAD BADTZ-MARU Travel Fun (A330-300), and Besties Jet (777-300ER).
If you are planning to book the Chicago flight, be careful to note which day of the week you are booking. As shown from EVA Air’s Hello Kitty flight schedule, service is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until March 8th, 2025. Beginning March 9th, this will switch to service on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The date change occurs with daylight savings starting again on March 9th in the United States.
EVA Air New Hello Kitty Routes to Sendai and Paris
Excitingly, EVA Air will expand its Hello Kitty service to two additional locations in late 2024 and into 2025. First up is Sendai (SDJ), Japan which will be operated daily from December 4th, 2024 onwards. The route will be operated by an A321 in the Pinky Jet livery on BR 117 and BR 118. The Pinky Jet is a new livery to EVA’s Hello Kitty service, and it’s great to see EVA expand its Hello Kitty themed fleet.
EVA Air describes the A321 Pinky Jet as: “The pink-themed plane, adorned with iconic Hello Kitty elements, comes together to create the cutest Pinky Jet! Store your travel memories inside Kitty’s heart-shaped bubble and soar through the sky, heading back to the warmth of home.”
The Pinky Jet stands out as the only Hello Kitty themed jet without a primary background color of white. I look forward to seeing what the Pinky Jet looks like in person when service launches.
In addition to Sendai, EVA Air is also launching Hello Kitty service to Paris (CDG) starting December 26th. Service is offered from Taipei to Paris on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday operating as BR 87. You’ll find the return service from Paris to Taipei operated as BR 88 on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Like Sendai, Hello Kitty service to Paris will also launch on a new Hello Kitty Themed 777-300ER named Lolly Jet. The Lolly Jet is just EVA Air’s second 777-300ER in the Hello Kitty theme after the Besties Jet. I’m glad to see EVA Air expand Hello Kitty service to another long haul destination besides Chicago and also provide an opportunity to try the Hello Kitty service out of Europe.
EVA Air describes the Lolly Jet as: “A journey is sweet, but a journey on the Lolly Jet is pure sweetness! Hop on board, and let your sweet travels come to life. Every moment feels as precious and delightful as candy in a jar.”

EVA Air Hello Kitty Sky Shop (Duty Free)
In addition to the onboard experience, EVA Air sells duty free products aligned with the Hello Kitty theme. You can find EVA’s Hello Kitty themed duty free products here. As of writing, I’m only seeing the below six products available. I’m hoping to see the A321 Pinky Jet available as a model aircraft in the future.
Booking EVA Air Hello Kitty with Miles and Points
EVA Air is a Star Alliance member, and it’s theoretically possible to book EVA Air’s Hello Kitty flights with airline points such as Aeroplan (Air Canada), ANA, Lifemiles (Avianca), and United. However, since the pandemic, booking EVA Air particularly in long haul business class has become challenging. For example, using Seats.Aero – I could locate only 3 days in the next year bookable with United MileagePlus miles between Taipei and Chicago. I couldn’t locate any availability for the Paris route.
As an alternative, you’ll find much better availability with EVA Air’s own mileage program, which is a transfer parter of Citi ThankYou Points and Capital One Miles. With that said, EVA Air’s mileage program is not the easiest to use by any means, and I’ve documented my experience with booking awards previously.
Ultimately, I hope to use my EVA Air points balance to book a flight from Chicago or Paris to Sendai so I can try the EVA Air Hello Kitty experience across a long haul and regional flight.
